What is an Antioxidant Water Fountain, Water Ionizer, or Micro Water Machine?
It’s a water electrolysis machine with a built in high performance filter cartridge. It produces high pH alkaline antioxidant drinking and cooking water, which has the pH value in the 8-10 range. The acid water from the machine has the pH value in 3.5-6 ranges. There are two hoses attached to the Water Ionizer Machine. The tab water is electrolyzed and divided into alkaline minerals concentrated and acid water. This machine can handle flow rates up to 1.2 gallons per minute and produces about 0.7 gallons of alkaline water per minute. All the functions of the water fountain are controlled by an on-board microprocessor based controller that allows push button adjustment of electrolysis in 5 levels. The microprocessor also controls the automatic self-cleaning of the electrolytic cell.

What are the benefits of electrolyzed antioxidant alkaline water?

The electrolysis process not only gains an excess amount of electrons, but also reduces the cluster of molecules in size from 11-13, which is the size of ordinary tap water to 5-7, which is half that size. How long can I keep the alkaline water?
Stored in a closed bottle are relatively stable for up to 30 days. However, the ORP changes fairly quickly after you produce the water. So it would be better if you used it quickly.

What can I use the acid water for?
Since a small amount of bleach is naturally formed in the acid water during the electrolysis process, it’s good as a minor disinfectant or cleaning agent. The acid water in pH value 3.5-6 is also good for skin care.

What does the filter do?
Before electrolysis the filter eliminates contaminants from the water. The first stage is to strain out sediment and parasites. The second stage is to reduce chlorine and wide range of chemicals. The third stage is to retard bacterial growth.

What is the meaning of self-cleaning?
To prevent any accumulation of sediment on the electrolysis plates, the machine automatically cleans itself out at the pre-programmed time by the reverse electrolytic process. At that time warning melody and cleaning light come on, and then let the water flow. It takes about 45 seconds.

What does the pre-filter do?
Depends on the water conditions, if there are excessive sediment or fluoride, we recommend you to use pre-filter because it is rigged to strain out any sediment or fluoride before the regular filter do.

What is ORP?
ORP is Oxidation Reduction Potential, or Redox Potential; it is measured in mV, and can be either positive or negative. It indicates that the availability or lack of free electrons in the water. A negative value is an indication of the antioxidant value of the water. Tap water and most bottled waters have a high ORP. With electrolysis ORP goes down and pH goes up.

What is pH?
pH indicates the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. The scale runs from 0 to 14. PH value 7 is neutral, lower than 7 is acidic, and higher than 7 is alkaline. Tab water is usually in the range of 7. With electrolysis, pH goes up as ORP goes down. You can regulate the pH directly with the level setting of the machine, or indirectly by changing the water flow. If you slow down the water flow, you are intensifying the alkalinity, because the water has more time to go through the electrolysis stage.
